A spirited little ship ready to help. Cap'n Pelly's ship of choice. Squirt can be using his own seafaring language.

Edward James Begley Jr
Edward James Begley Jr. is an American actor and environmental activist. Begley has appeared in hundreds of films, television shows, and stage performances. He played Dr. Victor Ehrlich on the television series St. Elsewhere (1982–1988). The role earned him six consecutive Primetime Emmy Award nominations and a Golden Globe Award nomination. He also co-hosted, along with his wife Rachelle Carson, the green living reality show entitled Living with Ed (2007–2010).
Equally prolific in cinema, Begley's films include Stay Hungry (1976), Blue Collar (1978), An Officer and a Gentleman (1982), This Is Spinal Tap (1984), The Accidental Tourist (1988), She-Devil (1989), The Pagemaster (1994), Batman Forever (1995), Pineapple Express (2008), Whatever Works (2009), What's Your Number? (2011), Ghostbusters (2016), and CHiPS (2017). He is a recurring cast member in the mockumentaries of Christopher Guest and Eugene Levy, including Best in Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2003), For Your Consideration (2006), and Mascots (2016). In 2020 he was cast along with his wife Rachelle in the award-winning mockumentary Reboot Camp.
The Focus of the project
The Captain Pelly Foundation is a is a non-profit organization founded for the sole purpose of bringing environmental awareness, as related to our coveted Oceans, Lakes, Rivers, and Streams. Presented by our eco-friendly program and global campaign featuring; “The Adventures of Captain Pelly & Squirt” starring the green master himself, Ed Begley Jr. as the voice of Captain Pelly.
In the classic tradition of Smokey Bear, McGruff the Crime Dog and School House Rock, by creating global awareness about the overwhelming plastic bottle crisis and other non-biodegradable pollutants affecting our planets precious water sources and systems as referenced above, the Captain Pelly Foundation will target the worlds youth of today with an educational, yet entertaining and compelling message to ensure a better planet for tomorrow…
The marketing and distribution of the various PSA’s (Public Service Announcements), live soft suit events and appearances, animated and digital IP programs, will be rolled out on multiple platforms. With our contemplated partnerships and/or affiliations with the National Ad Council, PBS, US Department of Education, 4 Ocean, etc., in addition to other corporate grants and sponsorships from all business sectors that we successfully establish, thus assuring that our aquatic quest and steadfast efforts will have longevity going into the second half of the twenty-first century and beyond!

Meet the creator
ROBERT W. SCOTT
Robert lived on a boat in Marina del Rey, CA, and saw the changes in the environment on the ocean and sea life. That is where he got the inspiration to write and illustrate children’s books to educate our children on how to take care of Mother Earth.
An award-winning artist & film technician working for Disney & other major studios, Robert grew up watching his vaudeville father perform at The Strand in Long Beach, The Tropicana in Hollywood, and more.
