Updates

Glow Party

As a reward for reaching our Fun Run fundraising goal, the children earned a GLOW PARTY! Our PTO went all out to create a memorable event on Thursday morning. With the cafeteria lights turned down low, neon decorations adorning the walls, and glow necklaces for every children, we turned up the music and had a BLAST! Grade levels were paired together to have their own special time at the party. With great dance music, balloons, and confetti cannons, I think this was a morning the kids won't soon forget.

Thank you to the Mr. and Mrs. Bosman and our PTO for hosting an incredible GLOW PARTY for our Fun Run reward! We appreciate you!

Mayor Baker Visits Leonard Fourth Grade

As part of the fourth graders' Social Studies unit on government, Mayor Baker was invited to speak to our students about how our local government serves our community. The children learned how schools, parks, jobs, snowplowing, and road maintenance are all services supported by our local government. Our students had the opportunity to ask questions and the mayor's visit certainly made our curriculum come alive!

The City of Troy's mayor, Mr. Ethan Baker, visits with Leonard's fourth graders on Monday afternoon.

Conferences

Thank you to all our families for your thoughtful participation in our Parent-Teacher Conferences. We appreciate your partnership as we work together to support your children. If you have any follow-up questions after meeting with your child(ren)'s teacher, please don't hesitate to reach out. We want to ensure this year is a great one for each and every child!
