You can easily setup the UZ7HO EASYTERM app as a Personal Bulletin Board System.
Step 1. Run the UZ7HO Easyterm Application. Step 2. Click on Settings then Station Setup. Step 3. Put a Callsign-1 right next to (Mailbox Callsign). Step 4. You may also change the Beacon destination to CQ. Step 5. If you want your station to go further out, you may use the nearest PAREDN Digipeater (ex. DW1OTT-15) all PAREDN gateway works as a Digipeater. You just need to use SSID 15 after the callsign. Step 6. Click OK and then close and start again.
Step 7. You now have a working PBBS - Personal Bulletin Board System. Your friends can now elect to connect to your station directly and leave a message or read message. This can be a Bulletin or a Personal Mail. Step 8. To check and see if there is mail waiting for you or you want to answer a mail left for you, just click on the Mailbox button.
Step 9. In the Mailbox, you can Compose a new mail, Read a new mail. Edit a mail or forward to another station.
Step 10. You can also Edit your "Welcome.txt". This is the text file that is automatically sent to the station that connects to your PBBS station. Just go to File then Edit "Welcome.txt".
Step 11. You can also Edit your beacon.txt, info.txt and bye.txt files. Just go to File then Edit them.
Step 12. You may also use YAPP forwarding. Go to File and then to Send YAPP File. Just be aware that you are transferring at 1200bps speed. Not fast but too slow. Just use small files.
