The group of Eliza Cardwell, Sophie Wolmer and Julia Zacher qualified and competed at the Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, held in Geneva, Ohio from May 26-28.

The first Mammoth to compete at Nationals was Eliza Cardwell, and she competed in the 400 Hurdles on Thursday. Eliza got out to a great start and fought hard in the last 200 meters, finishing fifth in her preliminary heat and sixteenth overall, matching her seed, in a time of 1:03.56!

Sophie competed in the 10,000 Meters on Thursday night. Running in a deep and talented field, Sophie put herself in the front of the pack. Sophie handled the frequent pace changes and finished ninth in the field, running a great race!

Julia Zacher competed in the high jump and cleared a height of 1.56 meters (5' 1.25") on her third attempt, placing 21st! Julia also took three good attempts at 1.61 meters (5' 3.25").

Eliza Cardwell also competed in the 100 Meter Hurdles, and she placed fifth in her heat and eighteenth overall, running a time of 14.98 seconds!
The Mammoths competed well at Nationals and we are so proud of them for having great seasons! Additionally, the team had an overall wonderful season and the progress they made and the care they show for one another is truly incredible!
