Adobe Creative Cloud is a resource that can help students and faculty discover their own creativity. During the 2022 Adobe Celebration week, we’ll dive into new Adobe offerings that utilize some of the most exciting trends in emerging technology: interactive design, on-the-go video storytelling and more. We'll host sessions led by UA students, UA faculty/staff and Adobe professionals.

Tuesday, 9.13.2022 | 1:00 – 3:00pm | Creating an Online Portfolio with Adobe
Join OIT for a special in-person Adobe Portfolio session in the Gorgas Library Camilla Room to learn how to create and optimize an online portfolio to fit your educational and professional needs.
Hear from Morgan Milstead, Instructor and Academic Advisor in UA's College of Human and Environmental Sciences, as she shares how she integrates Adobe Portfolio in the classroom and how easily the students adapted to the tool.
Adobe Portfolio is available to all UA students, faculty and staff. Portfolio enables students to build a website and showcase their work. No web design knowledge required! We invite you to follow along in this second portion of this session, where you can begin building your portfolio with us.

- Choose a template for your portfolio
- Customize your site
- Import content and share your site with the world
- Publish your website and edit privacy features

Join UA Adobe Student Ambassador Madison Corley for an interactive workshop featuring Adobe’s easiest to use tool, Adobe Creative Cloud Express. Learn how to quickly convert your images and PDFs to a different file format. Adobe’s Express mobile application is free to all UA students, faculty and staff. In this session you will:
- Convert images to JPG, PNG and SVG format
- Convert video files to MP4
- Convert files to and from PDF
Wednesday, 9.14.2022 | 10:00 - 11:00am | Meet the Tool: Adobe Premier Pro
Join Adobe Student Ambassador, Kaitlyn Dipiazza for an online workshop that will give you the editing skills you need to turn your video footage, photos and audio into polished, professional videos. Using provided footage, you’ll learn the basics of video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro from start to finish — including project organization, importing, cutting interviews, assembling sequences, working with b-roll, mixing audio, incorporating text and exporting final projects.

Join Adobe Student Ambassador, Rebecca Martin, for a virtual workshop on Adobe Lightroom Mobile. Learn the basics of Adobe Lightroom Mobile and how to customize a cohesive Instagram feed by making your own Lightroom presets.

Join University Printing graphic designer, Jeremy Rich, for a virtual workshop as he shares tips and tricks for setting-up files to print using Adobe Creative Cloud tools. Learn about bleed, color settings, image formats, exporting and how to correctly prepare your files for successful printing.

Branding can be tough, but Adobe Creative Cloud Express makes it easy! Follow along as OIT shows you how to use UA Brand Guidelines to set up a UA themed brand in Adobe Express to access UA colors, department identifiers and other UA approved assets in Express online and the mobile app.

- Learn how to set up a brand in Adobe Express

Meet Adobe Creative Cloud Express! Learn how to use new features to create professional and captivating graphics. This workshop, hosted by OIT, is for designers and non-designers who are seeking tips and best practices for creating graphics for print or digital medias, video editing and more.
In this workshop you will:
- Access Creative Cloud Express online and via the mobile app
- Create brands that can be shared and applied to print and digital designs
- Use premium features to make custom graphics for print and social media
- Create animated graphics
- Build a custom webpage to be used for newsletters, presentations, and digital storytelling

UA Adobe Student Ambassador Arianna Jackson for an interactive session and learn how to unleash the power of Adobe Creative Cloud Express to create fun memes and animated images to elevate your social media accounts.
