"TIME" - 1/28/2022 RELEASE
"Time" is the first single from FINKEL's forthcoming album, Islanders. FINKEL wrote Islanders on the isolated wintry archipelago, Mackinac Island, MI, from January - March in 2021. The experience was documented by friends, Slowblink, and turned into a feature-length documentary, distributed by Kamikaze Dogfight.
"Time" was the last song written by FINKEL on Mackinac Island. They were longing for their time on Mackinac while still in the experience, and lament the ridiculousness of it all. Every moment feels precious as the hourglass empties, but concentrating on the end only makes it finish faster. Through direct lyrics and nostalgic sonics, FINKEL paints the natural fragility of a moment. The moment you've been waiting for is already almost gone. "Time" was produced by Josh Stadlen, mixed by Khushi, and mastered by Dale Becker.

2022 ROADMAP
In 2022, FINKEL will release an 11 song album, a feature-length documentary, a 7 song mixtape, and an episodic documentary series on YouTube called FINKEL FINDS. Additionally, FINKEL will be doing a promo tour of their album Islanders in July of 2022.
