Things to do leading up your session
- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!! The more water you drink the better!
- Do not get a new haircut or try a spray tan for the first time!
- Avoid alcohol the day before your session.
- Wear loose fitting clothing to your session - tight bras and underwear can leave lines on your skin.
- Take the hair tie off your wrist! More lines on your skin!
- If you've booked hair and makeup, make sure your skin is clean and your hair is unwashed!
The Studio
The Studio is located at 171 King Street West in Dundas. It is located behind the main building down the sidewalk from King Street or through the alley on Church Street.
Please do not park in the lot in front of the studio! There is metered parking on King Street ($2/hour) or street parking on Church Street.
At this time, the studio bathroom consists of a composting toilet. If you aren't comfortable with this, the Shoppers Drug Mart nearby has a public bathroom on the second floor.
Your Ordering Appointment
Within a week or two of your session, you'll come back to the Studio for your ordering appointment. In this appointment, you'll choose the photos included in your package and any printed products you'd like to add to your package. Please be prepared to pay for any additional products outside of your chosen and pre-paid collection at this ordering appointment so they can be ordered immediately.

However, if you'd rather be cute instead - we can make that happen. Oversized sweaters, sports jerseys, even costumes, it's completely up to you how much skin you want to show.
I'm too fat. I have to lose weight first.
Okay, listen. First of all, fat is not a bad word. Fat DOES NOT mean ugly. Fat DOES NOT mean undesirable. Everyone deserves this experience regardless of what the numbers and letters on their clothing are. 2/3 of my clients are what would be considered "mid size" or "plus size" and you know what? Every single one of them absolutely OWNS their session.
Why are you so expensive?
I try to stay at a price point that is accessible to most people, but please remember, boudoir is a luxury service. I am a registered business and a college educated photographer. I have studio costs, insurance, gear, education and whole lot more. I also offer beautiful products (and some pretty unique ones too!) that are more than worth their cost. This is more than photos. This is an empowering experience that you 100% deserve.
