"The Terror of War" by Nick Ut
This image won him the Pulitizer Prize for spot news photography in 1973.
A major event that happened in his life was when his brother who was also an AP photographer was killed while photographing combat scenes which you would think it would scare him out of doing it but it did the opposite.
The impact Nick Ut's work had on the world was that it showed people what the kids were going through in the Vietnam war because people don't pay attention to news but this photograph is an attention grabber.
