Sunday
On Sunday the exchange students from Spain came to Germany. We first met the other Erasmus+ students at the airport, and waited there for the Spanish exchange students. After they arrived, we all went home. When me and my exchange student (Maria) arrived at home, I firstly showed her everything (my room, etc…) and after that we decided to go to the Ruhr. It was around 5pm when we arrived at the Ruhr, and there we took pictures and I showed her a bit of Mülheim in general, we talked a lot and then we went back home. A few of the other students went to L’Osteria to have dinner there, but we had dinner at home. It was really nice to get to know her better, and we got along with each other really well. After dinner we went to sleep at like 10pm. Liv
Monday
Today we first went to the auditorium to watch the welcome ceremony and watch a show from our younger schoolmates.
After that we talked a little bit about our project "Lost in translation" and planned something for it. We were all really excited and had many plans and ideas for it. After that we did a puzzle, ate some cake and chatted a little bit, we showed our Spanish exchange students our school and showed them around..
The next step was the MüGa where we were walking around and showing them everything. After that we had some free time where we could show our exchange students our city. We decided to go to a bubble tea shop all together and we had a lot of fun that day. Hanna
On Monday we had the first day together in the Erasmus program. We had a welcome ceremony for the Spanish students and teachers in our school auditorium. After this we showed a little film about Mülheim and then we worked in our groups on our project for Thursday. Then we are went to the park ( Müga) and had a lot of fun together. And we ate in the Gesellenhouse, it was really good. The day was great and we had a lot of fun. Loreley
We had a little welcome presentation in the Aula and after that the groups showed the Spanish kids around the school. . After a little project time with our groups everyone went to the Müga and after that we had Lunch in typical German restaurant.After lunch we spent a bit of time with the Spanish kids before everyone went home. Thursday
On Thursday we had time for our projects and to finish them.After we all successfully finished them we went to the Camera Obscura and the Leather museum which both were really cool and interesting, the workshops were really cool and fun too.
After the Leather museum we all went home to prepare for the Send of Party/Potluck Dinner. At the Dinner each group presented their project videos, which were very funny and well made.
We then enjoyed the food, talked to each other and had a great time. Alicia
We continued our group work and rhen we walked to the "Camera Obscura". There we were shown how a camera obscura works, went through the exhibit and we built kaleidoscopes.
After that we went to a Vegetarian restaurant, it was ok. Corny,Alicia,Lorley,Arnau and i went to Rewe and bought some icecream.
We then went to the Leather Museum. There we made little leather bags.. Hilda
Friday
We all met in the "Aula" at 8:30 and talked about the week and the project. We each had made anti- war CD covers and filled out evaluations on the project. Then we talked about the week in Mataró and what we will do when we are in Spain..
After that we all drove home and met at 1 o' clock at "Düsseldorf Airport". Hilda
