2016 has been an incredible year filled with blessings, love, and laughter for my family and I. Bri and I are now in our sixth years teaching. She continues to work with the Kinder kids at Dakota Prairie, while I'm loving my class of 5th graders. They are a special group that can easily put a smile on my face.
Our professional lives are busy as I continue to coach two sports, football and basketball, and Bri and I both began our pursuits of higher education. We started our first courses this summer, and we have fantastic classmates to go through this learning journey with!
The most exciting news from the year is that our family grew to a family of 4! We were anxious to share the news, and we opted against keeping the name a secret since that didn't go very well with Abrielle.
Ellie was very excited to find out whether the baby would be a boy or girl. After watching an episode of Daniel Tiger where he got a younger sibling, she was fond of singing, "Will the baby be a boy or girl? We'll just have to wait and see!" However, she definitely had her heart initially set on having a younger sister. Her reaction to the news was priceless!
Some fond memories this year:
On September 12th, our divine gift finally arrived! Theo Gregory arrived and has brought so much joy and smiles to our lives already!
I'll love you forever. I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be.
