I was simply mesmerised by the scenic landscape of Switzerland.

LUCERNE

Lucerne is a city in central Switzerland and the most populous town with a population of about 81,057 people (as of 2013). (Wikipedia).

Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke ), built in 1333, is an iconic covered wooden footbridge spanning the River Reuss diagonally in the city of Lucerne in central Switzerland. The restored bridge is the oldest wooden covered bridge in Europe, as well as the world's oldest surviving truss bridge.

MOUNT TITLIS

Of all the highlights in Central Switzerland, TITLIS is the big one. Mount Titlis tour – a once in a lifetime experience, was highly anticipated by our group. TITLIS – the highest (at 3,238 metres above sea level) glacier excursion destination in the region of Central Switzerland, Lucerne & Lake Lucerne.

Visitors will be presented with the spectacular and breathtaking panoramic views of snow-covered mountains and unspoilt Alpine landscapes. The season lasts from October until May. In the summer, the mountain is one of the top destinations for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Even well prepared with the appropriate clothing, the freezing cold and the howling wind was very discomforting.
Be careful when you walk on the thin layer of ice...it can be very slippery!
Spectacular and breathtaking panoramic views of snow-covered mountains and unspoilt Alpine landscapes. During the gondola ride, you'll be busy looking 360 degree around you!
The gondola TITLIS Xpress leads up to the intermediate station. Then TITLIS Rotair, the World’s first revolving aerial cableway, continues all the way to the top.
