How We Got Here
The Adrian College women's golf team won the program's first ever MIAA Championship. Adrian claimed the Regular Season Championship in the fall to earn the No. 1 seed entering the MIAA Automatic Qualifier. Adrian went on to win the three-round MIAA Tournament to earn the automatic bid to the national stage.
The Bulldogs continued to break program records throughout the season as they set a new program record in the Adrian Spring Invite with a 306. In the MIAA Automatic Qualifier, the team totaled a 938 to shoot the lowest MIAA AQ team score in conference history shattering the previous record by 22 strokes.
Taylor Ross
Ross sits as the Adrian No. 1 in the starting line up for the NCAA Tournament. She has totaled an average of 81.14 during the season in 21 total rounds. Of the 21 rounds played this season, 19 of Ross' scores have counted towards the team scores.
Ross has been on a hot streak where she shot her best two-round score during rounds two and three of the MIAA Automatic Qualifier at 154. She went on to shoot a season low of 75 in round three of the AQ which she went on to beat shooting a 74 in the Adrian Spring Invite.
Ross was named the individual champion three times this season and has placed in the top-5 in her last five appearances.
Olivia Ohmer
Ohmer sits as the No. 2 in the starting lineup and has appeared in 21 rounds on the season and holds an average of 80.43. Of the 21 rounds played, Ohmer’s score has counted in 20 of the rounds with her season low coming in the MIAA Fall Final at 73 on the opening day. She went on to shoot 80 the next day for a two-day total of 153 to be named the individual champion and the MIAA Player of the Year.
Omher was also named the individual champion at The Ruckus in Virginia with a two-day total of 157 early this spring. During the MIAA Automatic Qualifier, Ohmer finished day one in sixth place with a 78 which she followed with a seventh-place finish after a 158 total for rounds two and three.
Sara Bevington
Bevington sits No. 3 in Adrian's lineup where she's competed in 21 rounds with an average of 83.52. Her season lows have come at the right time entering the National Tournament. She shot a 75 in round two of the MIAA Automatic Qualifier and a 75 at the Adrian Spring Invite.
Her two-round lows came during rounds two and three of the AQ where she shot 157 along with The Ruckus at the start of the spring where she also shot 157. Her 157 at The Ruckus earned her an individual championship.
Bevington went on to place in the top-10 in the last four tournaments including a second place finish in the Adrian Spring Invite.
Lauren Reed
Reed sits as the No. 4 in the Bulldog lineup with an average of 82.0 through 21 rounds on the year. Her lowest score of the season came at MIAA Jamboree #3 at Pine River where she shot a 75.
Like the rest of the team, Reed has been hot down the stretch finishing in the top-10 in her last five tournaments. In her most recent contests, she placed third at the MIAA AQ rounds two and three along with the Adrian College Spring Invite
Riley Kleck
Kleck comes into the tournament as the No. 5 in the Adrian lineup averaging 82.81 through 21 rounds this season. Of the 21 rounds, Kleck's score has counted in 16 rounds.
Kleck's lowest round of the year came during MIAA Jamboree #1 and the opening round of the MIAA AQ when she shot 77. Kleck shot a two-day low at the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational to open the spring season with a total of 161.
In Kleck's last five rounds, she's placed in the top-15 as an individual. She holds one round win where she tied for first place at the final MIAA Jamboree of the season.

"Making it to nationals for the first time in program history is the cherry on top of an already historic season. It goes to show you that hard work and dedication can make you achieve your goals. These girls have put in so many hours of workouts, practices, classes, labs, homework, etc. and to be rewarded for it is special."

Tournament Format
The Adrian College women's golf team participate in a pair of practice rounds to start the week. On Sunday, teams were allowed to walk the course and putt which is followed by a full round of play on Monday morning.
The opening rounds of NCAA Tournament will begin on Tuesday and run through Thursday. After Thursday's round, the NCAA will cut down to the top-15 teams and the top-6 individuals that are not part of the top-15 teams. Friday will serve as the final round of the NCAA Tournament.
The NCAA selected 29 teams to participate in the National Tournament with the Bulldogs earning the 20th seed. Adrian's first round will tee off on Tuesday starting at 12:10 PM followed by a 7:50 AM tee time on Wednesday. The tee times for Thursday's and Friday's rounds are to be determined based on scoring.
