WE ARE THE MILLER MOUNTAIN LIONS
NEW ITEMS
Thank you PTO for a great Book Fair!
Green Bag Food Collection a Huge Success!
Miller families gathered over 3,500 pounds of food for families in need this winter!
The Giving Plate distributed almost 9,000 pounds of food to people in need. That's just one day. An "average" day is 3,000-5,000 pounds of food going out to people that need the extra help and there has been a 65% increase in need just from last year. Every little bit helps. Thank you Miller families!
New Community Service Project - This one will be completed at Miller during the school day. Parents, you don't have to do a thing!
Students will be writing and decorating Holiday and Winter-themed cards that will be distributed to people in senior care and memory care facilities here in Central Oregon. The cards will be created in our classrooms through December 7.
Picture Retakes - December 6
Picture Retakes are on Tuesday, December 6. If your child was absent on picture day, we will send a picture packet home with them this week. If you are not pleased with your students' pictures from picture day, they can have a retake. Please return original pictures with your student on December 6. See the flier linked in the email.
A Kindly Reminder...
You must bring your driver's license or other authorized ID to enter Miller for any reason. This includes volunteering, checking lost & found and meeting with teachers between the hours of 7am and 3:15pm. Thank you for following our safety protocols.
We Need Gently Used Gloves at Miller
If you have any gloves that your child has outgrown, we will take them! Just drop them off at the front desk. Thank you!
TREX Plastic Recycling is back at Miller!
It is EXTREMELY important that only certain types of plastic go in the TREX recycling. Please take a moment to watch this great video made by some of our Green Team Members. They worked really hard on this! Thanks for watching! https://youtu.be/70krBDs0ouM
