Campus Expectations
Grace Baptist Church exists to make and multiply Christ-followers who magnify the glory of God. We are grateful for the continued opportunity to gather in worship together, lovingly engage in meaningful community, and demonstrate love as we seek to reach our neighbors with the transforming truth of the Gospel.
We recognize the unique challenges that our society faces in this COVID-19 season. Grace Baptist is committed to fulfilling our mission during these unprecedented times and are guided by the following key principles:

What is the campus plan for Grace Baptist Church?
For all individuals visiting our campus, the campus expectations will remain in effect until further notice. Our campus expectations will be visibly marked around our campus as well as all entrances.
Grace Baptist expectations of attendees and guests.
1. All who visit the campus are required to pass our existing self-health check prior to visiting campus.
- Have you ever been diagnosed with Covid-19 or advised/directed to begin testing/monitoring/isolating for COVID-19 in the last 10 days?
- Has someone in your household, or someone with whom you have been in close contact* tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days?
- Are you currently, or in the last 10 days have you experienced any of the following: New or worsening cough, fever (greater than 37.78C or 100.04F), chills, muscle pain, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell?
Grace Baptist Church Campus Expectations Timeline. This timeline was created to assist in calculating a return date to campus according to the Campus Expectations Wait Period.
2. Hand sanitation and cleaning supply stations are posted around the campus along with the continued promotion of standard health practices.
3. No social distancing requirements.
4. No additional prohibitions for food preparation and service beyond the LACDPH food handling guidelines.
5. Masks are encouraged for those who have health concerns.
*"Close Contact" is any of the following people who were exposed to a person with COVID-19:
- An individual who was within 6 feet of the infected person for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period.
- An individual who had unprotected contact with the infected person’s body fluids and/or secretions, for example, being coughed or sneezed on, sharing utensils or saliva, or providing care without wearing appropriate protective equipment.
A person with COVID-19, is considered to be infectious from 2 days before their symptoms first appeared until they are no longer required to be isolated (as described in LACDPH Isolation Instructions). A person with a positive COVID-19 test but no symptoms is considered to be infectious from 2 days before their test was taken until 10 days after their test.
Although masks reduce the spread of the virus, wearing a mask does not change the close contact criteria.
If you answered YES to any of the above questions, you are not allowed on campus prior to passing our Self-Health Check list above.
Additional consideration for those more vulnerable:
- People with underlying health conditions should exercise additional caution. These conditions include but are not limited to: Chronic lung disease, Moderate to severe asthma, Serious heart conditions, Diabetes, Liver disease, Chronic kidney disease.
