Virginia White is a Professor in the Life Sciences Department at RCC. White explains how the Promise Program aims to make college more affordable for eligible students. It relates to food insecurity because as the program assists in paying for tuition, students can focus on food and groceries. The program plans to expand to in assisting in day care as well.
