Electric Renaissance A tribute to Cadillac ranch

In 1974 Cadillac Ranch was installed to signify the consumption of the gas guzzling combustion engines. It was 10 half buried Cadillac with their tail-fins in the air as if the earth was consuming them. The installation was later moved to its current home along Route 66 and is a common place for graffiti.

To pay tribute to the artist and their installation, we created a Tesla Model S out of a renewable material and had it 1/4 buried as if it was being reborn from the earth. The installation was just under 3 tons when it was completed and currently resides
