Yr 7 went on to win 10 – 0 and Yr 8 won 3 – 0.
The Squad consisted of Yr 7 Kezia, Issrah, Fatima, Ella, Ellie, Ava, Saira and Maryam, and in Yr 8, Haddy, Tami, Gursimran, Martyna, Zakiyya, Uzo, Yasmine and Mahin.
Well done to all those involved, and thank you to Miss Mathews who came along to cheer on her year group.

Book Review
by Alisha Gill (year 7)
Narnia – The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
PLOT
There are four children who step through a magical wardrobe and into Narnia, which has been enslaved by an endless winter with no Christmas by the white witch. There was a plot twist when the third eldest is tricked by the white witch.
YOUR OPINION
I enjoyed the book. My favourite part is when the four meet Santa Clause because he gave them useful items and because he gives advice. I like this part because in this endless winter there should not be Christmas but Santa is still there, showing she has weakened.
CHARACTERS
There are four main characters called Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy and they are siblings. My favourite character is Aslan because he is the one who guides the four protagonists through their journey and he is wise and a kind leader.
RECOMMEND?
I would recommend this to a friend because there are many plot twists and it’s authentic, it’s a cohesive story and doesn’t mimic other fantasy stories.
