Jason Correia and Sam Grosso have recently joined our office as new Financial Representatives!
Jason Correia
Jason lives in Fairfield. He graduated from Central Connecticut State University in May 2016 with a degree in Finance. He is the founder of the CCSU Soccer Club and acted as its President up until graduating. His hobbies include playing soccer and working out. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
Sam Grosso
Sam lives in Westport. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in May 2016 with a degree in Accounting.. After working for Foresters Financial for 6 months, he decided to make the switch over to NM. Sam has his Series 6 & 63 and is currently pursuing his Series 7 license. He loves playing golf in the summer and skiing in the winter.

John Parisi is a Northwestern Mutual Financial Advisor and Long Term Care Specialist with over 25 years of experience in life insurance, disability income insurance, and estate analysis matters, just to name a few. His practice also extends to overall preparation for the closely held business.
John Parisi graduated from Boston College in 1986 with a degree in finance. He joined Northwestern Mutual the same year and went on to earn the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®). John Parisi is also certified in Long Term Care (CLTC) planning and also earned the Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®) designation. John Parisi has devoted his practice to assisting his clients in securing their financial futures.
Walter M. Mello Jr

Walter M. Mello Jr began his career with Fidelity Investments in 2001 as an actuarial mathematician before joining Sentinel Pension Advisors as an investment manager in 2002. In 2003 he joined BlackRock Financial Management starting in risk management solutions, responsible for portfolio analytics and fixed income models. He later transitioned to trader in the portfolio management division and in 2007 became the portfolio manager for multi-billion dollar portfolios across mutual funds, pension accounts, and multi-asset hedge funds. In 2012 he joined Millennium Partners Group as a senior portfolio manager focusing on top-down macroeconomic strategies across asset classes including credit, volatility, treasuries, futures, equities, and options. In 2015 he launched WMM Capital Advisors, LLC, a volatility focused hedge fund that looks to provide protection and performance for client portfolios. Mr. Mello has B.A. degree in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross.
Robert Bilek

Robert Bilek is a director of the Financial Institutions and Advisors Division of MFS Fund Distributors, Inc., a subsidiary of MFS Investment Management (MFS). His territory is Connecticut. Robert joined MFS in 1996 as a teleservices representative. He joined the inbound Telemarketing Department in 1998 and the Financial Advisors sales desk in 1999. He was named regional manager, covering northern Florida, in June of 2000. Robert became regional vice president in 2003. Prior to joining the firm, he was a registered representative for John Hancock Life. He earned a bachelor's degree from Boston College.
