We are so excited to celebrate your Prosper Mighty Eagle Concert Bands for their achievements last week at the UIL Concert & Sightreading Competition held at Centennial High School. We are proud to announce that all three performing ensembles received unanimous Superior ratings (the highest scores awarded) by all six judges for every PHS competing band.

TCU Percussion Festival Success
Congratulations to all of our Prosper ISD Percussion Ensembles! This weekend, the Reynolds, Rushing, and Prosper High School Percussion Ensembles competed at the TCU Percussion Festival!

PISD Concerto Competition - TODAY!!
The Prosper ISD Band Concerto Competition is here! This special concert is to celebrate all of the fantastic talents of our Middle School and High School Students on their solo achievements. Each middle school has 3 students performing part of their solo contest piece and each high school are sending 4 students.
We are proud to be sending as representatives from Prosper High School:
Emily Strong, flute
Yanhao "Benny" Hu , alto saxophone
Jonah McConnell, trombone
Devin Pham, clarinet
The competition will begin at 1pm today at Rock Hill High School Auditorium and should complete around 3:30pm.
Admission is free. Hope to see you there!!!!
LAST CALL - DUE SUNDAY: PHS Band Senior Scholarships
Every year, our band boosters award scholarships to seniors that have exhibited outstanding service and membership to the Prosper Mighty Eagle Band during their entire tenure as a member. All senior Prosper Band members are eligible, regardless of their declared major in college. Awarded scholarships will be paid directly to their attended university for the Fall of 2022. Submitted applications will be reviewed by our scholarship committee with names redacted. Awards are based on the answers given in the essays and overall participation in the band program. Recipients will be announced at the band banquet.
All applications are due by Sunday, April 24th at 11:59pm and can be accessed through the link below.
URGENT: Senior Salute Form Needed!!
Attention Senior Parents... We need some pictures of your graduating babies!!!! Please fill out and upload pictures to the following Google Form so we can include them in our Senior Salute Video shown at the band banquet. The completed senior salutes were due on Friday, April 22nd; however, we are still accepting forms so that we can celebrate ALL of our seniors at the Band Banquet. Please submit ASAP using the link below.
Woodwind/Brass Auditions for 2022-23 Concert Bands
Auditions will be hosted in-person at Prosper High School. All incoming freshman will attend the after-school audition on Wednesday, May 4th. All current returning PHS members will take their audition during their class period beginning that week. Band placements will be sent out in band news and in the google classroom.
All band auditions have been posted on the Prosper 2022-23 Band Google Classroom.
Band Banquet 2022 is approaching!!!!
Be on the lookout for a separate email next week with all of the details of the 2022 Band Banquet. This is one of the highlights of the year and a HUGE EVENT!!! You will want to reserve your spot ASAP. This year, we will be allowing students to reserve their tables of 10 people, so please begin to assemble your groups now.
The event will be held at the Delta Hotel Marriott in Allen, TX on Saturday, May 14th beginning at 6:30pm.
