007 is making a return, and for the first time in history, a female will be stepping into the role of the famous James Bond. Pinewood Junior High Science teacher Elaina Tyson has been cast as this fictional heart-throb.

“I was ecstatic when I got the call, but mainly shocked,” Tyson said. “At callbacks, I saw Tom Hopper, Tom Hiddleston, Tom Hardy, even Tom Holland, and thought there was no way I was getting cast!”

Although producers mentioned earlier this year that James Bond would remain a male character, sources claim that Tyson put on such a remarkable show at callbacks, that even Simon Cowell would have been impressed.

“In this industry, [producers] try to remain flexible, and look for diversity in actors,” former James Bond Daniel Craig said. “When I heard of an exceptionally talented middle school science teacher auditioning, I knew I had to see if the rumors were true. Ian Flemming would be proud of how far we have come.”

Tyson has always been a huge fan of the 007 movies. Having Daniel Craig in the callback room certainly created an added pressure, but it reminded her why she was there: to totally crush these huge celebrities’ self esteem.

“In all seriousness, I have been waiting and waiting for them to have a female James Bond,” Tyson said. “I never thought in a million years that I would be the one to bag the role.”

To support Tyson, be on the lookout for more information on “Jane Bond: What If I Can’t Find My Brain Cells?” which, as recently announced, will be coming out in June of 2023.

“For some reason, the movie’s title really reminded me of my students, which urged me to take the role,” Tyson said. “In the upcoming months, I look forward to making Pinewood proud!”
