SOCIALS

THE OTHER SIDE OF ME

'The moral of 'The Other Side of Me' is to get angry & get out of toxic relationships, instead of being passive & people-pleasing. The video was inspired by the ‘expectations vs. reality’ scene from the movie 500 days of Summer & is in the form of a split screen showing how 2 different scenarios play out when you let your true feelings show vs. bottling them up. Taking its cues from vintage Alanis Morisette and Justin Bieber along with elements of classic Carly Simon, this is a pop-rock tale of tapping into your true self to overcome adversity.'

ANOTHER WORLD

'Another World is about escaping from our world into a new one. I wrote this song during lockdown about the world we had lost but that we knew we'd get back again someday. Lyrically, I wanted to merge ideas of the past with the present & together with a Bruno Mars-inspired production, this track is pop, upbeat & funk.' - ANNA BEA

WHAT IF

'What If is a song about missed opportunities & wondering what would have happened if things had turned out differently. With a production inspired by JLO & Camila Cabello’s work, this track is upbeat, feel-good & pop.' - ANNA BEA

THE ART OF NOT FALLING APART

'The Art of Not Falling Apart is almost like a distorted fairy tale. With ethereal elements in the production and Spanish guitar infusions, the song is for anyone who has ever felt trapped or a little lost.' - ANNA BEA

THIS TIME - STEVE MARINANGELI FT. ANNA BEA

'I was asked to sing the lead vocal for this track by songwriter Steve Marinangeli, however when I was meant to start recording, lockdown hit again and all the studios were closed. A friend of mine has a studio in his bedroom and so I spent 4 days recording this song there. It was produced by Simon Ellis (the writer of the S Club 7 song 'Don't Stop Movin') and is about a girl reminiscing about her past relationship.' - ANNA BEA

'WHEEL OF CHANGE' ep

'The EP is called 'Wheel of Change' and each song represents a different stage in a relationship, showing that nothing ever really stays the same. ‘Bleeding Heart’ is about a broken girl trying to break free from a toxic relationship; ‘People Keep Telling Me’ signifies the stage when she is finally free and confidently single; ‘Cold’ is about letting go of love and realising that sometimes it’s better to be on your own and ‘Roll the Dice’ is about that early stage of a new relationship when you’re not sure what’s going to happen next.' - ANNA BEA
