Snow Survival Guide

  • Follow @ArizonaDOT on Twitter & monitor regional weather forecasts and road conditions.
  • For those driving to campus, allow for extra travel time to and from your destination and ensure your vehicle is in good condition to travel in the snow.
  • Keep a windshield scraper, hats, gloves, and a blanket in your car in case you get stuck.
  • Invest in a pair of functional waterproof boots to get you around campus and keep your feet warm and dry. And a nice winter coat as well!

Healthy Habits & Winter Wellness

As we kick off the spring semester, start strong by utilizing these resources at your disposal to take care of your mental, physical, academic, and social health.

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Counseling Services are tailored to the individual needs of each student. Additionally, the Mental Health Support Squad is a peer-support resource that works to bring mental health wellness to NAU students.

Create your own experience at Campus Recreation and put your life in motion through a variety of innovative programs, support services, and state of the art facilities, all backed by a student-focused team. Get connected beyond the classroom with a healthy and active community!

Get a head start on studying! Form a study group with your peers and stop by the Academic Success Centers to see what resources are available to you.

Whether you're making snow angels with friends or having a snowball fight on the Pedway, there are plenty of fun activities to enjoy in the wintertime at NAU! LEAP creates opportunities for students to engage, have fun, and celebrate being a Lumberjack.
