Lindsey does not limit your images. She takes whatever your kiddos are willing to allow and she feels you have a worthy selection.

Lindsey uses top of the line equipment including multiple lens on 2-3 cameras so your kiddos don’t have to wait for lens changing!

STUDIO Sessions

Hazel's Session | 6m

VLP has a home children’s studio based in Chilton, WI for newborns to age 10. There are countless props always being updated, over 90 backdrops, and top-of-the-line lighting equipment. (She may or may not have a slight addiction on antique shopping from vendors all over the world.)

  • Sessions are done all year
  • Babies 4 months to one year are photographed in the studio
  • All sessions before 5:30 are done in the studio

OUTDOOR SESSIONS

  • Mid-May through Mid-Oct
  • Must be photographed after 5:30 pm for golden hour lighting
  • Ages 18 months and up are done outdoors during these months
  • Locations are around Chilton and chosen based on weather and outfit styles/colors
We got SO lucky on this STUNNING sunset that brought out the deep yellows and oranges. Another reason natural lighting is so good!

Baby's First Year

Sessions for your baby's first year are all done in the comfort of the studio to keep baby safe and have full access to props and accessories.

Sitter and Standing Sessions

These are recommended for milestone portraits. Sitter sessions are when baby is sitting up--typically by 7 months. Standing sessions are for one year milestones.

[new!!] SMASH AND SPLASH SESSIONS

VLP is now offering smash and splash sessions on their very own vs adding it to a session! The session includes the cake, outfit, and decor.

Cake Smash

You've survived the first year of late night feedings, earling morning rises. First smiles, sitting up, crawling, standing up, and maybe even walking! This session shows so much more personality!

Cake smash sessions are done with one year sessions. Client provides cake and outfit. VLP provides set up, cake stand, balloons, decor, and....the glorious clean up.

Lindsey made this little tent and floral backdrop for Gracelynn's cake smash. Simple, but pretty. She is also wearing a floral romper and headpiece from VLP.

Theme

  • Clients choose their color theme
  • Theme can be specific colors or character themed.
  • Client needs to inform VLP no later than 2 weeks before the session to be able to order cake and time to design and create backdrop.
  • Clients can give VLP the freedom to surprise clients!
Some clients choose their theme based on what they are doing for the first birthday party.

Session includes the setup, outfit (unless client would rather provide their own), professional cake, backdrop decor, and clean-up. It also includes pictures without the cake to capture some personality pictures, the smash itself, and the bath splash!

Print Prices

Retainer Fee: A non-refundable retainer will be required to book your session. If the weather is a cause for cancellation, then you will receive a credit towards your next booking. If baby is sick, your retainer fee will be credited to your new rescheduled session. You can reschedule your session as long as it is done within 2 weeks prior to allow you credit for the retainer fee.

Warmer Season: ALL child sessions are indoors BEFORE 5:30 pm. After 5:30pm, sessions are outdoors for best lighting.

Colder Seasons: Indoors only (but Lindsey would love to accommodate a snow day for part of a session if the temps are safe for your child!)
