Dear University community,

The University continues to make its facilities available for students, faculty, and staff impacted by the City’s ongoing water crisis. Water distribution on campus has also been scheduled. We are monitoring the situation and will make facilities and resources available as long as needed.

  • Voting for members of Precinct 255 will be available on campus tomorrow, Monday, March 1, 2022 in the Western Hemispheric Trade Center lobby (WHTC) from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Please exercise this most precious of rights here on campus or in your respective voting district. The College of Arts and Sciences’ department of Fine and Performing Arts and the dance company Tim Rubel Human Shakes presented “The Culture of Love/La Cultura Del Amor” at the CFPA. • Mandatory randomized surveillance COVID-19 testing for all members of the University community: students, faculty, and staff is underway. Emails have been distributed to notify individuals of their selection for testing. Once selected, you have 72 hours to test on campus at no charge. There are consequences for non-compliance with this mandatory testing requirement. Please review your University email account regularly.
  • On-campus testing and vaccination are part of our unified commitment to health and safety. Up-to-date information on testing, vaccination, and boosters is here. For more about our COVID-19 Pandemic response, visit our dedicated COVID-19 Response Center. A dynamic recommended mask guidance link is now available.

Let’s continue the use of recommended face coverings/masks, in addition to practicing distancing and rigorous hand-washing. The best defense continues to be vaccination and boosters, both offered free of charge every Wednesday in the Student Center Rotunda.
