The Saving of the Franks: Miep Gies Gage M

Early life and Background Miep Gies was born on February 15 1909 Miep died on Janurary 11 2010 During the war Miep was a younger girl so she did't really know who and what the soldiers were so she would go and talk to them but instead of the soldiers being nice to her they would slap her or they would push her to the ground and her parents would have to come out and get her because she would not be able to get up by herself. Miep and her family did't have a lot of money when she was growing up so she had to learn how to fend for herself and she had to get a job to help her family. Historical Background The holocaust was an execution of the jews and Miep Gies was not a fan. Miep tried to help save this in family in particular named the Franks. and she went through a whole bunch of obsticles and she had to tend to the Franks everyday to make sure that they were okay and that they didn't need anything like food or something else. Miep was also not going to give up or back down even if it meant risking her live or even dying. Miep had a husband and a kid that she had to attend to but she was still going to help keep the Franks save not matter what. Finally, Miep just wanted the Franks to be free again and so they didn't have to hide anymore, so they could just be free again

How they Fought for Justice Miep Gies was hiding a family named the Franks and a young girl named Anne Frank. Miep also was keeping them safe in this hiding place that was pretty small so she had to cram i there so that she could give them food or so she could make sure that they were okay and safe. Miep had to get food for her family because she was giving all of her food to the Franks so that they would survive. Miep Gies never had a chance to help the Franks escape and get away from the Nazis and so that they could be free. Finally, Miep was at gun point many times that she was helping the Franks hide.

Historical Impact Miep Gies was remembered by saving the dairy of a young girl named Anne Frank. She also was remembered by keeping Anne Frank save for as long as she did. Miep inspired other Holocaust survivors that they could get through it and that it would get better. Miep also made the Franks have hope that they would be free and that they could get through it. Miep had an impact on her kids and on her grand kids that they could be just like her and that they could make a difference just like she did. Finally, Miep Gies was an all around get person who was willing to risk her life to do whatever it took to help save the Franks and so that she would succeed her mission.
