Only one year and four months apart in age, siblings Desiree and Denise Ruiz would always jokingly refer to themselves as a package deal. Wherever Denise went, Desiree went. Wherever Desiree went, Denise went.

The Womenswear Designer Label, Desiree & Denise takes after the two sisters who chose the fashion industry as their career choice; Desiree as a fashion designer and Denise as a make-up artist.

The Puerto Rican Fashion Designer, whose Ready-To-Wear collections have walked down the runway during Orlando International Fashion Week, is also a multi-disciplinary artist and published author, known for her poetry book "El Hechizo de la Amapola".

After four years of graduating with a BFA in Fashion Design, a grand opportunity presented itself to launch her very first global collection with the fashion brand, SHEIN.

Upon taking the opportunity, Desiree registered her brand with both her name and her sister's, launching a clothing line that captures their opposing yet contemplating styles.

Denise’s romantic aesthetic, shown through the delicate, elegant silhouettes, such as the off-the-shoulder sleeves, the sweetheart necklines, and the heavenly white and airy blue color palette.

Desiree’s edgy aesthetic, present through the plunging necklines, the harness-like and deconstructed pieces, the intricate strap detailing, and the darker color palette.
