Spring has officially sprung. The days are getting warmer, and you can hear the birds chirping in the trees. In the month of March, we introduced our very first Staff Appreciation Week, where we focused on acknowledging the hard work of our staff. We sincerely hope that you enjoyed this week and we plan on continuing this as an annual event.
COMPETITION WINNER
We were thrilled to announce the winner of our Staff Appreciation Competition, which was open to all those who had worked a shift in February. The lucky winner, Tonderai, received a £250 voucher of his choice.
We were delighted to hear that he opted for a Currys voucher and used it to surprise his family with a new microwave. He also treated himself to a hard drive to store his beloved photographs, as he is an avid photographer.
Rowcroft Hospice has been chosen as the recipient of the £500 donation from Alert Health 24, after receiving 385 votes. Rowcroft Hospice is dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients and their families who are struggling with life-limiting illnesses in South Devon. They offer comfort and support to families during their most difficult times.
It brings us great joy to be able to make this donation to such a deserving charity and we sincerely hope that it will make a positive impact in their efforts.
EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
A massive congratulations to February's Employee of the Month: Michaela from the Cheshire branch.
Jaimie, our Cheshire Manager nominated Michaela for this award to say a big thank you for all her amazing work.
Jaimie said ''Michaela has been one of our most consistent and reliable staff members. Not only that, but she is (to me) the epitome of what Alert Health 24 stands for. Every time she’s on shift, I’ve had managers tell me she will do as much as physically possible to support the staff and management in the home and whilst putting smiles on residents faces. The main client she works with have said repetitively, how she’s a breath of fresh air around the residents and if they could clone her, they would!''

INCREASE PAY RATES
As of the 3rd April 2023 we will be increasing your pay rate. We have written to all staff notifying you of the increase in your pay, as it is a testament to how much we value our staff. We sincerely appreciate your dedication and hard work.
If for any reason you have not received an email regarding these changes, please feel free to contact your local branch. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

COMPANY NEWS
We are thrilled to share the news that Alert Health 24 is expanding! We will now be covering Somerset-South, Devon-North and West, and Staffordshire. With this exciting growth, we are pleased to announce that four of our Branch Managers (Robin, Aaron, Nicky and April) have been promoted to Senior Branch Manager positions and will be overseeing these new areas. April will be managing Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
We look forward to seeing what April has in store and hope you have a lovely month.
