My Experience in Language Arts by jose andres terneus castillo
This year in Social Studies we learned a lot of things about Ancient Greece.
We also learned about Ancient Rome. The romans built a giant empire. They had a coloseum where they held many events.
Ancient China is another civilization we learned about in Social Studies. Instead of having a giant colosseum they had the Great Wall of China.
Every other week in a block of Reading we had to go and read to the little kids in kindergarden, that was called "Reading Buddies"
We also did Book Clubs. Moira made groups and each group was assigned a book. Each week we would get together one or two times and we would discuss about our book.
In Writing we learned how to write different types of essays. We learned Narrative, Persuassive and Informational. writing
This was my fifth grade experience. I hope you enjoyed it like I did.
