Welcome to the de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center at Lynn University
Opened in 1993, the de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center houses four team locker rooms, offices, and a pair of athletic training spaces. The home of Lynn Volleyball and Lynn Basketball.
Team Vehicle Parking
All team buses must park in the dirt lot or west end of the north lot of Lynn University (click the button below to view the campus map).
All other team vehicles (team vans, cars, etc) are allowed to park in appropriate open visitors parking spaces that are available anywhere on campus.
Facility Entrance and Exit Points
Visiting Team Locker Room Assignments
Visiting team locker rooms are assigned based on availability of other team locker rooms as there are no specific team locker rooms designated on the campus of Lynn University.
Locker room assignments and availability times will be made available by the host to the visiting team in advance of arrival to campus
Bus Idling
No buses under any circumstances are allowed to idle while on the campus of Lynn University.
A bus carrying a visiting team must immediately drop off the team upon arrival to campus. If the bus driver chooses to stay on campus, they must park in designated team bus parking (dirt lot or west end of north lot of Lynn University) and keep the engine completely off until the moment they need to board the visiting team and depart campus.
Athletic Training
General Information
- A certified Athletic Trainer will be available for all home-hosted events/competitions.
- There are three athletic training facilities located on campus [de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center - Southeast and Southwest corners of gym floor and Bobby Campbell Stadium's - South building].
- Each athletic training facility is equipped with modalities, emergency equipment, and athletic training supplies.
- Each team will be provided with water, cups, and ice/ice bags.
- Available emergency equipment includes AEDs, crutches, and vacuum splints.
Treatment
- The athletic training facility will be available to provide treatments for your student-athletes.
- Only basic treatments (ice/hydrocollator packs) will be given to a visiting student-athlete without a written protocol from your athletic training staff detailing the type of treatment to be rendered.
- Please notify us if we can assist you with any special needs during your visit and we will do our best to accommodate.
Traveling without an ATC
- Please notify us in advance if there will NOT be a certified athletic trainer accompanying your team so we can make the necessary arrangements to provide the additional coverage.
- Please send all necessary athletic training supplies, treatment protocols, and student-athlete insurance information with your team.

Officials Parking
Four (4) marked parking spaces are available for game day officials in the dirt lot (lot E). The most efficient way to access lot E is through the West Potomac Road Entrance. If these parking spots are already inhabited ample parking can be found throughout lot E or lot H. (click the button below to view the campus map).
Officials Locker Room
The officials locker room is located in the de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center. The most efficient way to access the officials locker room would be through entering the facility at the entrance on the south east corner, adjacent to the garage door (click the button above to view the campus map).
Animal Policy
No animals (other than service animals) are allowed at NCAA events at Lynn University.
