Bread of Life, October 3, 7:00 p.m., Francis Chapel: Our friend Manolo Betancur of Manolo’s Bakery and his friend George Elfond, CEO of Rallyware, will tell us how the war in Ukraine became a personal call to action. While delivering aid to refugees, they found a way to bring bread back to the people of Ukraine. Come hear about creating community through bread!

Wednesday Night Supper Begins, October 5, 5:30 p.m.-6:45 p.m., Jubilee Hall: Chef Hannah Riley of Alternative Chef will serve chimichurri steak, green chili black beans, Spanish rice, and corn tortillas. Mental Health Series, October 6, 9:30-10:30 a.m., room 108: Rita, this week's speaker, has lived with many challenges and is no stranger to stress and anxiety. And now we are seeking more. Whom do you see as an emerging leader, someone who might be a thoughtful wise person to work on our Administrative Board or our Trustees, Finance or Staff Parish committees? Faith Girls and God’s Guys Begin, October 9, 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.: Fifth grade girls and boys are invited to join these five-week Bible-based studies to explore the Fruits of the Spirit. Rev. New - McAllen Border Trip, October 29-November 2: Join us to interact with our neighbors seeking asylum through a ministry of presence and service and learn from local advocates about the impact of the Border Wall and the asylum process.
