3/4 Writing

The 3-4s have writing every week. The teachers think of EVERYTHING from poems to non-fiction papers for the kids to write.

One thing the 3-4s wrote is a reading reflection. They used planning sheets to plan a paragraph.

The reflection had to include their strengths, challenges, growths and goals as a reader.

This is what the plan looked like.

Once they had a plan, they did a first draft in their journal.

They draft in a journal.
They could do the final draft on the computer or on a piece of loose leaf paper.
Here is the writing prompt.

Once they finished their reading reflection, they did some free writing.

This is a draft about spring.
This is a final copy.

Happy writing, 3-4s!
