Boat Modelling in Blender Devlog 3

Greetings fellow adventurers! In this devlog update, I'm thrilled to share our latest learning journey as I delve into the world of 3D modelling using Blender, a powerful software for creating 3D models.

Learning Blender

To start off learning blender I wanted to craft a basic block-out model of the player boat. While it's just the beginning, this hands-on experience has allowed me to grasp the fundamentals of 3D design in Blender, opening up endless possibilities to shape the world of Isle Wonders.

Buoyancy

Once exported and getting the model in-game, the next task was adding buoyancy to the boat to work with the water system. This was not an easy task and I still haven't quite figured out how to get it functional..

This behaviour only stopped when making the sea completely still, which isn't how an ocean should look. I'm now looking into other options for water systems that could be more stable.
