In June 2022, clinicians, academics and policy makers around the world connected to find 'real world' solutions for the challenges of implementing global evidence in local contexts

The JBI gLocal Solution Room provided the platform - a week-long series of free, local events held globally which aim to help health professionals get research into practice

JBI recognises that healthcare is complex; that there is no single, linear approach that will work every time to move research evidence into policy and practice

The JBI gLocal Solution room was held for the first time in 2021

In 2022 we saw significant increases in the number of attendees globally, and in the number of local events

23 JBI Collaboration Entities hosted local events in all regions of the world. Each Solution Room included a panel of local clinicians and implementation experts that responded directly to participant questions around evidence-based practice challenges

Almost 30,000 clinicians, policy makers, researchers and students attended local events in-person or online

Our aim to help more clinicians in more settings find pragmatic solutions to implement evidence in practice was achieved!

How do we know that local events were successful in helping clinicians get research into practice? We surveyed attendees!

The JBI Collaboration also benefited by hosting events

Based on the success of the JBI gLocal Solution Room over the last two years, we'll be back in 2023!

We plan to be even bigger!
