Weekly Respite A Wellness moment FROM JASMINE DRINKARD

EDITION #4

This week I invite you to watch a quick video from Morgan Harper Nichols. She is a poet, musician, and mixed media artist who is inspired by stories. Her work reminds us to slow down and make space for reflecting on our own stories.

7 Reminders for the Day

If you are like me, your day is filled with reminders. These reminders may live in your phone as an alert or on your calendar. You may have post-its all over your workspace filled with little tidbits of information that you need to remember or action items you need to complete. Well, I would like you to put all your reminders on pause for a moment and consider the seven mentioned in the video below.

Thank you for participating in the Weekly Respite!

JCPS recognizes that employees' mental health and emotional health are as important to their job performance as physical health. To provide support, JCPS has contracted with an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees and their family members at no cost to the employee. The EAP is a confidential, short-term counseling program offering traditional face-to-face or telephonic counseling services with a licensed therapist.
