Chromebook & Hotspot Lending from Multnomah County Library

Please fill out the form linked above to connect a community member with the library’s Tech Lending program. Community members can check out a Chromebook (laptop) and/or hotspot (internet access) for up to six months, and will not be charged for late, lost, or damaged items. Following the library’s priorities, we are first loaning Chromebooks and hotspots to community members most impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. The information for each question should be about the person who wants to check out a Chromebook or hotspot. If you have questions, please contact the Library’s Tech Lending team: techlending@multcolib.org.

Edtech Listserve

The EdTech List has been developed for the discussion of educational technology among elementary, middle, and high school staff, as well as technology support and troubleshooting. This list allows teachers and staff to discuss relevant technology issues, share resources among themselves and collaborate and reflect on best practices. To join the list, please go to Google Groups, search for EdTech List, then click Join group.

Once you have been subscribed to a list you can send messages to the group via email or Google Groups. The email address for the list is edtech-list@pps.net. Messages are sent out to the list approximately two to three times a month and any edtech-related announcements or news is always posted to the list. Subscribing to the list also offers special opportunities and/or early access to participate in upcoming technology-related initiatives.*
