Thank You!
We wanted to begin our newsletter this week by extending our gratitude for the support shown at our Platinum Jubilee Party on Friday afternoon. It was wonderful to see the community together again and we hope that everybody enjoyed the afternoon.
Thank you to Mr. Conroy for providing the rides and our school staff and volunteers for making the event such a success. Pupils were fantastic at running stalls and we managed to raise £1000 for our school.
Pupils have excelled themselves this half term, working hard in lessons and impressing visitors during our school's Open Day. Mr Thomas and I will meet with School Council to plan an end of year treat for all pupils during the next half term to show our gratitude. Well done everyone!
We return to school on Monday 6th June.
School Sports Clubs
There will be no after school sports clubs on the first week back after half term. We are in the process of refreshing our offer. A new timetable will be shared soon!
Swimming
Years Five and Six will return to swimming on Monday 6th June until the end of the half term.
Parent Feedback Form
Thank you to everyone who completed our parent feedback form. We were heartened by the positivity and the recommendations for further improvement was valuable. The winner of the £30 will be contacted on Monday June 6th.
Change in Lunch Menu - Thursday 9th June
Information from Empathy Lab - Parent Survey
Hello! We are working with your child's school to help develop pupils' empathy skills both inside and outside the classroom.
We would very much appreicate it if you could answer the follow series of short questions to assist us in establishing what the impact of the project has been over time.
We will send you an identical survey in July 2023 to see if there has been any change in opinion over time.
Many thanks
The EmpathyLab Team
Long Course Weekend Kinder run (LCKINDER) - Friday July 1st 2022
Over the weekend of 1-3 July 2022 Tenby plays host to the biggest multisport festival in Europe – The infamous Long Course Weekend.
To open the weekend’s events children aged 4-11 years are invited to take part in their very own amazing event tackling a surf run and then a run across Tenby North beach before finishing to the cheers of the huge crowds at the finish line! The event begins at 4:30pm in Tenby and can be entered through the Long Course Weekend website or by following the link below.
Parents/carers will need to enter on behalf of their children but staff members from school will be in attendance to cheer you on.
This is a fantastic sporting event for youngsters and one that Pembrokeshire is very proud to host; It would be amazing to see as many of our JCPS sporting superstars taking part. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact school.
