Spring term 2 2021 2022 Mapplewell primary school newsletter

As we bring the Spring Term to an end and enjoy the Easter break it is lovely to reflect on the success of this half term.

As always your children have continued to excel themselves and demonstrate their potential through both hard work and achievements in the classroom and by displaying many of our school values through their personal development.

Spring Term 2 has been the start to inviting families back into school and we have thoroughly enjoyed seeing you. We welcomed new Nursery parents/carers in our New to EYFS Meeting, held two hugely successful Easter Performances and reintroduced face to face Parents’ Evening. It was been a sheer delight and we cannot wait to see you all more frequently in school over the coming terms.

Support for Ukraine

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your kindness and generosity towards supporting our Ukraine Appeal. We were overwhelmed with the amount of donations and know these will be greatly appreciated.

We were extremely proud of one of our pupils who raised money out of school by making and selling bracelets!

Sporting competitions

We have continued to take part in many sporting events across Barnsley and continue to be proud of our pupils achievements.

World book day
