Quizizz is a FREE, user friendly, web based, assessment system- that provides students and teachers with instant feedback, real time game play, and the ability to assign assessments as homework for out of class review and completion.
Quizzes are created, much like in any other instructional management system. Quizzes remain saved and can be used over and over.
When the teacher activates the Quiz, students log in on their own devices- all web based- no passwords to remember. They go to the address on the board, put in a code, and their name. They are assigned an Avatar- and their scores can be posted on the board so they can compete with each other.
Students can play with or without a timer, and the teacher can choose to show the leaderboard, or have it hidden. The questions appear large, are easy to ready, and easily discernible by the students.
After the student completes the quiz, they get instant feedback on correct items, can see how they compare to their classmates, and the teacher immediately has a record of how each student performed.
