Oskar Schindler By DaNiela Huerta and Ruben Iniguez

Oskar Schindler was born in 1908 and died in 1974. In February 1939, he joined the Nazi Party. He started as an opportunist businessman who enjoyed the greater things of life.

Schindler employed many Jewish workers to work in his factory. As time went on, he began to take risks for his workers, bribing and persuading others to protect his Jewish workers.
Because of his aid to the Jews, he was able to save 1,200 from death. His acts were to no cost; he endangered himself for others and saved many lives. Oskar Schindler is a wartime rescuer.
