YOUR CONNECTION TO ALL OF YOUR FAMILY'S SUPPORTS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF FLORIDA AS WELL AS LOCALLY HERE IN PALM BEACH COUNTY IN ORDER FOR YOU TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN NAVIGATING WHAT IS POSSIBLE FOR YOUR CHILD'S SUCCESS. EACH PAGE PROVIDES YOU WITH AN EASY LINK TO THEIR WEBSITES.

Since 1958, The Arc of Palm Beach County has been providing a wide variety of services for individuals with disabilities and their families to make them feel valued. Some of the programs that they offer include early intervention services that partners with several area doctor's. In addition to this, they also have their own school for children pre-K to 8th grade that have physical, communicative, and/or medical needs.

This website helps parents better understand their children with autism by providing them extensive education on their child's needs that will help them achieve their best. This site provides parents with videos and a glossary of terms so they can build their knowledge in order to embrace autism with their child.

Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System Alpha Center serves the Palm Beach area with supports to provide students with exceptionalities the resources needed for their child to be successful throughout their K - 12 school years as well as post-secondary. This website not only provides parents with quality resources but educators as well in connection with the Florida Department of Education.

FAU'S Center for Autism and Related Disabilities is another wealth of resources for parents to gain services specific to their child's and family's needs. They have a directory compiled that parents can search up providers that range from crisis intervention to legal resources to vocational training just to name a few.

Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County provides support for parents to better find programs that will ensure the least restrictive learning environment for their child. This website provides parents with inclusion links, transition resources and more.

The Florida Inclusion Network is an amazing resource to parents by assisting parents with concerns that they may have of their child's school free of charge. They provide presentations for the families, colorful books on inclusion tips, tips on how to effectively communicate with school personnel, and more.

The Unicorn Children's Foundation was created in 1994 as a result of Dr. Mark Rosenbloom having experienced many of the frustrations and concerns parent often do in better understanding, identifying and providing for their child with with needs based upon their disabilities. With this support group parents are armed with the tools needed to communicate with other stakeholders in their child's lives to ensure they are getting the best care and education they deserve through support groups and classes.

2-1-1 of the Palm Beaches/Treasure Coast is a platform that parents can call to learn about resources and programs to support their child with disabilities from birth to 22. They understand the frustration of not knowing where to turn to and are there to help support and comfort families towards what is best for the child.
