All-State Band Member
We are so very proud to announce that Sam Harden on euphonium has been named a Texas All-State Musician! This is an honor bestowed on 2% of the over 20,000 Texas band students that begin the audition process. Sam will attend the Texas Music Educators Convention in San Antonio in February and perform in one of the featured ensembles.
Congratulations Sam..... we are so proud of you!!!!!
All-Region Clinic & Concert This Week
This week is the All-Region Clinic and Concert for Region 24. We are so excited to celebrate our students that earned a spot in one of the five all-region bands!
The clinics will be held on Thursday and Friday of this week at various locations and the final concert will be held on Friday at Liberty High School.
All participating students are responsible for all transportation both days as the district buses will be unavailable due to them being on their routes. Lunch information will be provided in the next few days to all participating students.
If you would like to attend any of the concerts, all are welcome! The concert schedule for Friday at Liberty High School is:
5:15pm 9th Grade Band
6:00pm Concert Band
7:00pm Symphonic Band
8:00pm Wind Symphony
9:00pm Wind Ensemble
