The 9th Commandment "You shall not covet your neigHbor's WIfe"

The 9th commandment explains to not wish or envy for something that you do not have. Vows are made during the holy sacrament of Matrimony and the vows should be kept. You shall honor and love your spouse all the days of your life.

This photo shows the desire and temptation of the man to be with the other woman and possibly shame, even though he should be fully loyal to his spouse. The groom vows "to be true to you in good times and bad, through sickness and in health."

Purification of the heart demands prayer, the practice of chastity, purity of intention and of vision. The struggle against carnal lust involves purifying the heart and practicing temperance. Purity of heart will enable us to see God, it enables us even now to see things according to God.
