We have had a super first week back! In maths we have been using our knowledge of number bonds to 10 to help us with our number bonds to 20. We also revised some of our earlier work on length and we compared the heights of the children in our class.
In science we investigated objects that floated and sank. We learned that it isn’t quite as simple as the weight or the material of a object that makes it float or sink.
On Tuesday we made pancakes because it was Shrove Tuesday and we flipped them to see if we could catch them in our pan. It was great fun.
On Thursday it was World Book Day. We reflected on some of the stories we have read this year and thought about our favourites. Our week ended with a trip to the Northern Stage to see ‘Zog and the Flying Doctors’. We had the best time - what a wonderful first week back!
