Career Fair
In the 21st century, people explore, experience, and understand the world around them in many new and different ways. To fulfill the need and demand of the students, Habib Public School organized Career Fair, on Friday 14th December 2018. Thirty-eight leading experts in different fields and ten colleges and universities were invited. The event took place at the HPS Gymnasium from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Designed for class IX to final year XII students.
Graduation Day 2018
It all began with the drums, cymbals and trumpets all ringing in symphony to play the song “Pomp and Circumstance”. Graduands entered the gymnasium, walking in single file and moved to take positions in-front of their seats. After they had all taken their positions the faculty marched in with the faculty-mace bearer, Mr. Bashir at their head. The mace-bearer being the staff member having the longest association period with the school, together with the mace, implied that the relation of the school with its teachers is old and strong. The senior faculty members took their positions on the gymnasium stage and the mace was kept on the table in clear view of the audience.
Student's Day
As per the tradition of Habib Public School, Students’ Day was organized on the 20th of December. The senior students were entrusted with the responsibilities of the faculty members and the Admin team, at the beginning of the day.
The assembly was conducted by the Sports Captain who assumed his charge as the Chief PTI. The Principal, Mrs. Shehzad, handed over her charge to the School Captain, Rafay Qadir, and the charge of the Heads of the Cambridge and AKU section were handed over to the two Deputy School Captains respectively.

Farewell
Farewell of class 2018-19 held on 1st March 2019 in the school gymnasium. The event was delightful and well organized. All the students and faculty members were excited about the event.
HPS-ED-TALKS
HPS-ED-TALKS, (Aspire to Inspire) is a platform where educators from various educational institutes can come up on the forum and speak out their ideas to strengthen the educational organizations. The first episode of HPS-ED-TALKS themed Teachers as Leaders was held on Monday 6th May, 2019 in the school Toyota gymnasium.

ROBOTICS CLUB
Another first at HPS, the Robotics Club was introduced at school to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills in students interacting with robotics kits.
The learning objective were introduced in the orientation session.

Academic activities & competitions
Social Studies Activity
Presentations are an effective and interesting strategy of teaching and learning process. Students of Grade 8 Senior-AKU gave a presentation gave a presentation on the topic ‘The Deserts of Pakistan’. The students described the location and features of deserts of Pakistan.
They also shared the characteristics of plants, animals and their adaptations found in the desert region.
ISMO Achievements
ISMO (INTER SCHOOL MATH OLYMPIAD) is a math contest organized by PAK-TURK MAARIF. Competent students from national and international schools including BEACONHOUSE, KGS, BAHRIA, PAK-AMERICAN, THE INTELLECT, NASRA, COAST GUARD, TIS, PAK-TURK participated in three categories. HPS also participated in the event and won the following positions.
AKBAR ABBAS (VIII-N) 2ND POSITION in first category awarded a certificate, shield and cash prize of Rs. 7500.
HARIS HUSSAIN (VIII-P) 5TH POSITION in 3rd category awarded a certificate, shield and cash prize of Rs. 1000.
Peace and Its Symbols
The students of class VIII-O presented a language project Peace and its Symbols. This project aimed to give the students a chance to develop a philosophy of non-violent force by exposing them to the history, techniques, and practitioners of non-violence.
Some of the popular peace symbols used around the world are the dove, the olive branch, the V-hand signal, the poppy flower, the paper cranes and the rainbow peace flag etc.
The Students worked hard to find the history of some of the peace symbols and their concepts. The students displayed their presentations, charts, leaflets and book marks in groups which were given the names of peace symbols.

SPORTS - AN INTEGRAL PART OF HPS
Hockey Match
An Inter House Football Championship for classes IX and X was held on 6th August and 3rd September 2018. The players of all four houses participated with enthusiasm to win the Championship.
Green House maintained their position by winning again, Yellow house was the runner up. All the players showed their true sportsmanship.
1st Prof. Hashmatullah Lodhi Inter School Basketball Championship
Maaz Ghanchi and Izhan Mughal from AKU section were part of the team that represented HPS.
Match Results:
- HPS team beat The Indus Academy in round matches by 31-07.
- HPS team beat Beacon House School by 20-08.
- HPS team beat The City School PAF Chapter Quarter final by 18-13.
- HPS beat Army Public School in the Semifinal by 44-23.
- HPS got a RUNNER-UP Trophy against The City School PAF chapter.
