Thanks for the opportunity to bid on, and be reviewed for this project. Full Lock Media is an Atlanta, Georgia based content creation agency with a strong background in hospitality, having created the majority of our work in travel video for hotel groups, CVBs and upscale restaurants and bars. We pride ourselves in creating strong one-off content that caries our signature style, all while creating our client's vision and branding.

We are a BIPOC / Minority owned business, and proudly come from diverse ethnicities and backgrounds with a wide range of experience in content creation.

This proposal is broken down into several sections:

FLM 1.1: Background

Full Lock Media LLC (FLM) is an Atlanta based content creation studio with a focus in Travel and Hospitality video. The term Full Lock comes from our humble beginnings in the automotive scene; Full Lock is a drifting term, defining the moment your wheels are completely locked in a turn; The term means "Completely committed." It is a defining point for our company culture: to stay fully involved and never holding back while creating a vision. This passion and focus still holds true to all the work we do, and we have actually come full circle, now building our own race car that currently resides in our offices, and is a constant reminder of our humble beginnings.

FLM was founded in 2005 by Kapil Gandhi while in the middle of getting his film degree, as opportunities to create content for large corporations began coming up rapidly. By 2013, we had a full time staff of 12, creating content for several clients, mostly based in hospitality (Starwood, Ice Portal, OPAL Collection, Occidental to name a few) and handling 7 figure campaigns for Starwood Hotels. We were in charge of projects containing 700 video deliverables; setting up an asset manager, communication management system and deliverables in several specs, ensuring each video project could be treated as an individual and important asset.

From then to now, we have grown and expanded to tackling larger single productions for a wider range of clientele. We have produced music videos with $125k budgets, handling all the key roles internally; Created several award winning short films; Started a micro-documentary series about individuals positively affecting the Atlanta community; Expanded our client base and moved into a new studio space in Northeast Atlanta. Our newest project was a 7 figure social media campaign for Marriott Bonvoy spanning all major US cities and is already seeing direct return.

FLM 1.2: Capabilities and Equipment

  • Ownership of several 4K and 8K cinema cameras shooting RAW and 422, including 3 - "netflix approved" Sony FX series cameras.
  • Owned Camera support over $50K including an 18 foot camera crane.
  • Licensed and Insured drone pilots with two - 4K - 422 ProRES drone rigs for both long term flight AND live broadcast.
  • 2 Full Cinema Lens Packages for different looks based on overall goal.
  • 4 Edit bays, including 2 traveling M1 Max 16" laptop.
  • Full time crew is Vaccinated, current passport and global entry holders.
  • $2m production insurance package
  • Enterprise Level Data Storage with a primary 110TB server set working drive and solid state primary data access.
  • Established Hospitality Video creators since 2008, with hundreds if not thousands of 'first name basis' contacts and decision makers in different departments and areas of hospitality and service industry.
  • Full Post production capabilities including color correction, graphics and varying export specs.
  • Full Time Post Production Supervisor to manage project deliverables and timelines
  • Up to date on union pricing, Line Producing and regulations for crew and talent to Keep crew safe and happy.
  • Founder led organization with a "safety-first" company culture seeped in positive energy, creative expression, strong communication and quality deliverables.
  • Diverse group of filmmakers on full-time staff and on call, of varying specialties, backgrounds, upbringings, and voices.

FLM 2.1: Approach

Our goals for the project is to take any direction on stylistic approach from the CVB team of Springfield, and use that to create an updated look book. With our look book, we will involve your team as much as possible where available. Beginning with casting, we will secure a diverse range of talent including multi-cultural couples, non-traditional families and showcasing the variety to travel to Springfield, Illinois. We will look to hire locals first, and have your team handle final approvals. Diversity and Inclusivity, as well as non-traditional families will be favored for variety. We budgeted for 10 individuals, which can include two children.

Our plan would be a 4-5 day shoot schedule during the Late summer / Early Fall timescale where the weather cools down and the air becomes crisp, but before leaves change. This will allow for great sunrises and sunsets, fluffy clouds, and more activity in public landscapes. We will bring Talent and hair/makeup and a full crew in for 2 of those shoot days, diversifying our groups so we can capture landmarks in both staged and un-staged environment. This will allow the B-roll package to have longevity, as the footage won't date by hairstyles, clothing, or even just the use of individuals. Wardrobe and hair/makeup will be catered towards a timeless Americana / contemporary look.

Photography will be completed on a 45+MP full frame camera, involve stunning shots of historical monuments, landscapes and architecture both with and without talent. This will be captured simultaneously to the video for cost effective use of talent and locations.

Photography will be delivered in a cluster of 100-150 completed, colored and retouched images. 8-10 images can be selected as hero images - and will get full color and retouch options with more intense options, including removal of random objects, additions, photoshop master level adjustments. Some of these will likely be aerial compositions which will involve 8-10 images to create on composition. No AI will be used.

We will shoot this on 4K proRES cameras with cinema lighting and support. Miniature crane, steady cam rigs, and drone (with FAA Licensed pilot) will be included in the package. Our goal will be to create Broll in a variety of styles, from high production value staged shots with perfect sunrise / sunset lighting to more cinema verite "in the moment" shots. We will showcase the authenticity and history of the Springfield both through the eyes of visitors and on its own so the Broll has longevity. Strong framing and foreground elements will allow the viewer to peer into the beauty that is Springfield, Illinois.

Aerials will be included where applicable, with our FAA licensed pilot and team included in the project to create these visuals. Unique perspectives and interesting takes and perfect times of day will elevate the video and inspire those to make the trip!

Upon Principle completion, our post production team will begin trimming the excess and putting together a strong Broll package from which to create your video edits. We have budgeted for two rounds of rough cuts before finals, which will be color corrected and run through a post production sound agency for tight deliverables. All delivery will be handed in 4K proRES, 4K compressed and 1080p compressed for ease of use by your teams.

Last, we will add music and if desired to completed edits, but we think a strong addition to this project is adding ambient sound to create a well editing audio soundscape that allows the viewer to fully immerse into the experience. Examples below.

Capable of both complex lighting setups and sourcing hard to find vehicles and props...

...all the way to capturing natural, magical moments with perfect lighting. We find it's important to immerse yourself in the environment to capture the intangible moments of every day life that may go unnoticed to the untrained eye. This gives us the ability tell the full story, constantly looking for the Broll that elevates a production.

FLM 3.2: Photography

FLM 4.1: Budget breakdown

Preproduction: Including preproduction, casting, , scout, insurance. Approx 5% of budget.

Principle Photography: Crew: Producer / Director, DP, Assistant Camera, Grip/Electric, 2 production assistants. AC expendables, 4K 422 camera equipment, camera support and production value support, grip kit. Drone and licensed drone pilot. Travel expenses around for shoot, craft services, crew meals. Talent. 60% of budget. Ownership and rights.

Photography: Photographer, Photographer's assistant, Full frame camera and lenses, lighting. Cluster of delivered - lightly touched images, 40 fully retouched images. Ownership and rights. 20% of budget.

Post Production: Editing and deliverables. 3 minute final video, 1 minute edited video, 2:15-2:30 edited video, and a B-Roll library with 4k and 1080p resolution exports colored and organized. Edits all color corrected and adjustment. Video edit, natural sound, tool and revisions. Color correction, LUT, final deliverable. 15% of budget.

Total Lump Sum Quote: $48650.00 USD.

This rate is inclusive of all aspects of production listed above, including crew meals and travel where needed.

FLM 4.2: Deliverables

  • 3 Minute Completed edited video with sound, multiple formats from 4K ProRES down.
  • 2 minute 30 second completed edited video with sound.
  • 1 minute completed edited video with sound.
  • 15-20 minutes of delivered quality Broll in multiple formats
  • 100-150 retouched, color adjusted images.

This information is submitted in good faith that the parameters and the scope of project are within the description provided by the requesting party. While we are a very flexible crew, who is always looking to serve the client, any requests for additional or adjusted shooting, or multiple rounds of edit corrections within the scope, scale, and rate of this quote should be approved by Full Lock Media.
