Outdoor Ed students traveled to Grand Valley State University on Friday, Nov. 12 to use its rock climbing facilities.

Students were instructed on all safety information before starting and were required to prove they understood all steps involved to a GVSU professional prior to him clearing them to climb. Senior Austin Harps surveys the route ahead of him as he plans his next move. While climbers were required to use physical strength, they also had to work their brain to solve the puzzle of how to reach the top. (photo by Camille Berko)
Traub enjoys his time working out how to maneuver throughout the wall to reach the top. "It's a really good exercise, plus it's super fun," Traub said. "And it's a great community of people, I definitely love it." (photo by Camille Berko)
