A huge thank you to all the teachers for accompanying our Year 4s to Braeside this week. The Year 4s were brilliantly behaved and slept well(ish)! Click here to see some of the things that they got up to.
Drinks in school (Prime)

World Book Day Information - Friday 3rd March
We will be celebrating World Book Day on Friday 3rd March. This year we would like the children to dress up as their favourite character from their favourite book. This can be a character from any book and there is no class theme. If the children do not want to dress up they can come in their school uniform as a school child from a book such as Matilda, The Worst Witch etc.
The children will receive their World Book Day tokens the week of book week and these can be used in a variety of book stores. There are some £1 books that can be exchanged for the token.
Home Activity – Competition
We would also like the children to take part in the ‘Decorate a Jar Story Challenge’
For World Book Day and to encourage the children to share their love of books we would like the children to have a go at decorating a jar. This jar can be any size or shape and as a colourful as your child wishes to make it. What we would ask is that it shows their favourite story or part of a book they love.
We will have prizes for the best decorated jar at FS/KS1 and KS2. Please bring the finished jar into school on Friday 3rd March.
