Federal funding is not divided equally, the amount each state gets varies greatly, and it is the data collected by the Census that determines whether your kid gets a brand new iPad or an old beat up textbook.

Over $700 million of federal funds are distributed to local police departments across the nation through several programs every year, and you guessed it, Census Data!
