Strong Engagement & Participation
There were 50 events sponsored by Site Council in 2016, with an estimated total of 16,000 Adobe employees attending events at the site within the fiscal year. Using our metric of an average of four conversations per employee per event Lehi Site Council generated over 64,000 "casual collisions" as a result of the 2016 event program. These personal interactions help drive community and keep morale high.
Diversity & Inclusion
In alignment with Adobe's corporate Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) strategy Site Council the Diversity Council subcommittee drove numerous events and activities that help make Adobe an employer of choice for key underrepresented groups. The efforts included celebrations for Black History Month, International Women's Day, LGBTQ Pride, and Veteran's Day. The work that site councils are doing to support D&I initiatives is paying off - Adobe was recently given a 100% percent mark on the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index, which rate workplaces on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.
Coming Together for Fun
Under the Awesomeness subcommittee the site hosted numerous events designed for the both the general employee population like the annual Holiday Party, Movie Nights, and Food Truck events. In addition, several new niche activities, such as The Pinewood Derby, Pioneer Day, and Culinary Learning classes were piloted and received good participation and engagement.
