Teacher Appreciation Week 2022 4 Ideas to Support Teachers Through Your Fundraiser!

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2-9, 2022 - Are You Ready?

Check Out These Ideas for Engaging Educators with Your Fundraising Event!

Create Teacher Incentives!

Provide rewards teachers want, such as a new desk chair, get out of lunch or carpool duty coupon, a catered lunch, or $50 gift card to K12 School Supplies for brand-new classroom supplies.

  • Entire class gets registered for the fundraiser = raffle entry to get a brand new desk chair in the color of their choice
  • Classroom reaches donation goal = Their pick of Teacher Coupons (free lunch delivered to their class; get out of detention duty; no carpool duty for a week; etc.)
  • Every online share of their classroom webpage = 1 entry into a $50 raffle for class supplies (you can do a raffle drawing for each week of your fundraiser to boost shares!)
Classroom Enrichment Funds!

With Get Movin', we encourage schools to create classroom donation goals. Make it personal for the teachers by giving 10% of the classroom goal back to the teachers for classroom enrichment. Parents LOVE when part of their donation stays in their student's classroom!

Teacher Shout-Outs!

Give teachers some props based on their classroom progress and meeting participation goals. These can be during the morning announcements, on the school marquee, signs during pick-up/drop-off, or online on your webpage or social media pages.

One Word: Popcorn.

Attend a staff meeting and give all teachers a bag of microwave popcorn with a "thank you" note attached: Just Buttering You Up for the Fun Run; Just Popping in to Say Thanks, etc.
